Operating from our family run nursery in Cardiff, South Wales Baskets in Bloom specialise in producing a wide range of filled hanging baskets, planted containers and genuine oak whisky barrels. We supply both commercial properties and domestic residences and our products are sure to enhance your premises.
We also offer a refill service for customers who prefer to use their existing containers.

Products and Services In a nutshell… We fill any basket, manger or planted container! Baskets in Bloom aim to enhance your home and garden space. We specialise in supplying filled baskets, containers and oak barrel products. Our tried and tested plant combinations are chosen to give you the best display and maximum longevity. Alternatively we can refill your own baskets and containers. Whatever the requirements, we pride ourselves on delivering a service that is second to none when it comes to quality and price. In addition to our standard mixed wire baskets we also offer single species baskets such as the popular ‘Surfinia’ trailing Petunia, trailing Fuchsias, trailing ‘Ivy leaf’ Geraniums, and trailing Begonias. We also supply hanging flower pouches which are designed to lie flat against any wall or fence post, and are ideal for framing doorways.

About us For nearly 21 years our plants have been sold directly to the public via local markets across the whole of the South Wales area. Not simply growers and retailers of plants, our success is down to the care and commitment in ensuring our plants are of the best possible quality. R Ford Ltd was first established in 1933 and has now involved four generations of growing, wholesaling and retailing. The business has evolved from the production of vegetables, through to ‘pick your own’ fruit and more recently, to the intensive growing of bedding and pot plants. |

Delivery, collection & payment We accept all major credit and debit cards. All prices quoted include delivery to Cardiff, Newport and the surrounding areas. We do, however welcome enquiries from further afield, although delivery will be charged at cost. Contact us for further information. COLLECTION Collection direct from our nursery in St. Mellons is available on Monday and Wednesday between the hours of 10am and 7pm by prior arrangement. R.
